Adam, Where Are You?

I hear the Lord saying:

“Adam, Adam where are you? Adam, we used to walk in the cool of the day
Adam, My son, where are you? We had sweet communion, we fellowshipped, but your heart now is hard.

It has grown cold and indifferent. You have become the accuser. You’ve become the judge. You’ve become self-righteous in your own eyes. You have clothed yourself in your own fig leaves.

But I say unto you, Adam, where are you? Where are you, My son?

I call you back. I call you with weeping. I call you with longing.

We had such sweet communion. You spoke, and it was as I spoke, and it was. I’ve taught you these things,” says the Father.

“But now you run. You run, and you hide from My voice.
And your fig leaves are now being pulled off,” says the Lord.
“For I will expose thy nakedness, and others will begin to see the hardness of your heart.”

“No, My son, you’ll not run, for My love will not allow you to escape.
I will chase you deep in the woods.
I will chase you deep, deep, deep in the highways.
I will chase you deep, deep, deep.
I will chase you and give you no rest,” says the Lord.
“I will dry up your fountains; I will dry up your purse,” says the Lord
“And your eyes will look up to Me.

For Adam you’re My son, and I will not let you go.
For you say unto Me, ‘Let me go,’ and I’ll not let you go,” says the Lord.

“For I will wrestle with you as Jacob and I wrestled, and I will change your name, and you will walk with a limp with humility for the rest of your life.

And you will become My servant. You’ll become My son.
And you will proclaim My gospel. And you will go out unto the highway and the byways, and you will declare My Word,” says the Lord.

“For I have marked you. I have called you. I have redeemed you
I have even filled you, and you think that your fig leaves will keep you covered.

No,” says the Lord.

“I, the LORD, will pursue My love.
I, the LORD, will pursue you,” says the Lord.

“O Adam, Adam, Adam, hear My voice and know that I am talking to you this hour.

And I say unto you, My church, not just one Adam but there are many Adams in this place,” says the Lord.

“There are many who are running and running and running and running and running and running. Aren’t you tired yet?” says the Lord.

“Aren’t you tired of your running and pursuing? Oh no, My child. No, My children.

The road will not take anywhere but destruction. For I give you now a warning:

If you don’t turn quickly, Satan is already at your door ready to engulf you in sin. He is already ready to destroy you. But if you’ll run, if you’ll run now to Me, I will cover you with My Blood, and that will be the weapon that will stop the enemy.

And your heart will be pure before Me,” says the Lord.

“Do not allow the enemy to destroy what I have created in you,” says the Lord.

“Adam, run now quickly!”
